Meet the Coaching Staff
The goal of the program is to be competitive and successful in the Dual County League (DCL), while providing the girls with a safe and supportive environment, where we can teach technical, tactical, physical and psychological aspects of the game.
Varsity Head Coach
Lisa has been involved in coaching soccer since 2002. She has coached youth, college and now high school. She is in her second year at Wayland High School. She played soccer from third grade through high school in Wellesley, MA and went on to play college soccer at Colby Sawyer College. She graduated CSC in 2001 with a BS in child development/early education degree. Lisa has lived in Wayland for 15 years with her wife and children!
Varsity Asst. Coach
Cyd Tyska played four years of Varsity Soccer and lacrosse at Lincoln-Sudbury and played four years of Women's Lacrosse at Brown University. After college she coached lacrosse at the Rivers School, Buckingham Browne and Nichols and Babson college. She also coached town and travel soccer for Natick. This is her 5th year as assistant coach to the girls varsity team at Wayland High School.
Junior Varsity Coach
Liz played Division 1 Soccer (& Softball) at St. Peters University, in Jersey City, NJ, where she continues to hold several records, and has been inducted into the Hall of Fame, on an individual and team basis.
Following college, Liz worked in financial consulting, and moved to Wayland in 2014, with her husband John & their four children. She has coached numerous kids’ sports teams throughout Wayland, and continues to play competitive soccer year round.
Liz has a special place in her heart for girls’ sports. She will be a strong role model and encourage the JV Girls team to achieve excellence on and off the field.
Alison has been involved in coaching since 2011 whether it be at high school level or her sons 8U hockey team. Alison was a two sport varsity athlete at Waltham High School where she graduated in 2008. After high school Alison went on to get her bachelors degree in Business Management from Southern New Hampshire University. She currently lives in Framingham with her wife and three kids.
